Iran- 15,000 homeless women sleeping in the streets in Tehran

Increasing number of homeless women sleeping in the streets 

 

Farzad Hoshiyar, director general of the Tehran Welfare and Municipality Organization admitted, “In Tehran alone, there are over 15,000 homeless people sleeping in the streets, along with 5,000 orphaned children. However, the very important issue is that the number of homeless women is increasing compared to men.”
