Shariati Moghadam, the social and crime prevention deputy of the Mashhad public prosecutors told the state-run Khorasan daily, “In line with continuous follow ups by the Mashhad pubc prosecutor a number of hoodlums in this city are to be paraded (intended to humiliate the individual) in various parts of the city.”
It is worth noting that insulting citizens under the pretext of crimes in not only in violation of principle 22 of the Iranian regime’s own constitution, but also in breach of various human rights covenants.
