Neda Mostaghimi
Civil activist Neda Mostaghimi, a supporter of the ‘Mothers of Lale Park’ movement in Tehran, was arrested at her office by security agents on May 4 and there has been no information of her whereabouts since.
It is said the apprehension of Ms. Mostaghimi is related to a 3-year jail sentence and her arrest back in December 2010.
Ms. Mostaghimi was then at a ceremony commemorating the birthday of Amir Arshad Tajmir in Tehran’s renowned Behesht-e Zahra and sentenced to three years in detention on charges of assembly and collusion with the intention of actions against national security. She was released on bail at a price of 1 billion rials (equal to around $20,000).
